| Christmas 'Russian Roulette' Raffle |

Hey Guys, it’s that time of year again - The Christmas Raffle will be held at the café on Sunday 20th December. Please make an effort to come along with a small wrapped gift*, and some cash! I will be coming round to relieve you of that bothersome change in your pocket at the café starting from this Sunday so if you can’t make the 20th, no worries, you can still take part.
*Be careful what you bring, you may just get it back!  |

| Cornwall Council Road Safety Staff, Calling All Motorcyclists |

You are invited to meet with Cornwall Council road safety and the police to contribute views and opinions about reducing and preventing motorcyclist casualties in Cornwall. Topics covered will include training provision, advertising and awareness raising and discussion on the causes of collisions.
It will be held on
Thursday 19th November 2009 from 7pm to 9pm at the Penventon Park Hotel, West End, Redruth TR15 1TR

| 22nd Martin Jennings Memorial Run – Sunday 13th September |

Time travels fast. The 22nd Martin Jennings Memorial Run has come around so quickly. Please could riders assemble at Garras Wharf, Truro, for a 10am start.
This year the run in aid of Mount Edgcumbe Hospice. St. Austell.
Would all club marshals please dust off their bibs ready for the 13th.

| Charity Run Sunday 19th |

Thanks to all those that came on the charity rideout on Sunday the 19th July.We left Cafe 1 at around 11 am with just over 100 bikes. Thanks to all those that helped and donated on the day. We raised £350 in aid of the National Animal Welfare Trust at Wheal Alfred Hayle.

| Madrider rides again 18th June-21st June 09 |

Due to unforeseen circumstances Stuart Madrider Morrissey has had to abandon his charity run on it’s return leg. Consequently there will be no escort from the Café on Sunday evening to Lands End. He passes on his thanks to all who continue to support him and is obviously gutted. |

| Help for Heroes Charity Ride - Sat 18th April |

A group from the Equalized Working Men's Club, Stapleford, are on a 660 mile ride from Stapleford to Lands End for Help For Heroes. They will be riding with around 30 bikers and two support vans from 0700hrs on Friday 17th April 2009 and will be arriving back at Stapleford on Sunday 19th April around 1300hrs.
They will be at Lands End on Saturday 18th April at about 10am. Please come along and show (oops) some support for them.

The Moto Guzzi Club Cornwall are holding their second "Way out West" rally 2009 at the Wendron cricket club 22nd to 25th May. I would like to take this opportunity to personally invite all the members of the First and Last MCC to our event.
